Aug 23, 2010· ive just fitted some tapered headset bearing and think ive fitted them wrong some how as the steering feels tight and has play even when the castle nut is very slack. to fit the top bearing i removed the oem ball bearings and the cup they run in from the frame and fitted the new insert in the frame and the new taper bearings (all seems good)
